How I wish this story was true!
What an unpleasant story. I stopped reading ~20% in. I am old, I really don’t choose to spend my time on unpleasantness. Sorry, I’m sure it is a great story.
What a dreamily bittersweet story! Rattled a few of my own bad memories, leaving me wishing I had been offered a similar option at the right moment, but still made me smile. So happy with the way the bitter and sweet got portioned out in the end!
I love how Mr. Carroll plays with time and weaves an intricate pattern with our dreams, desires and imperfections that invite us to question our place in the universe. Thanks!
I ADORE this story. Beautifully written and told, and full of hope.
Every time I read your stories, I am transported to the sort of world I want to believe in – where reality includes a pocket or two of magic that can be found to maybe inspire us to avoid getting stuck in the muck. Such a gift. Thank you.
Great story, very thought provoking.
I love it! Absolutely from the bottom of my heart.
Charming and magical :)
Simply beautiful.
Simply beautiful. I forgot how I love your stories, Master Jonathan

A woman, who is constantly belittled by her fiance, finds a portal to a new life while visiting a tiny Italian city.
I love the way he distorts time in this piece and gives the city agency.
