Good Omens trailer

We’ve waited forever, my friends. Now it’s time to get your first glimpse of your favorite angel and demon in the upcoming Good Omens series, which just premiered at New York Comic Con!

Grab your bell, book, and candle, friends:

The use of Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend” is eight kinds of delightful, and seeing Crowley and Aziraphale meet up at so many different points of history endearing as all, um, heck. We still have to wait until 2019, but it’s starting to feel real.

This might get me to lower my antagonism towards Amazon…Good Omens is one of my favorite books of all time.

Now I have to go back and reread the book. Plus I just signed up for Prime (for Doctor Who!) so I’m all set! Whoohoo

Looks like this could be the antidote to the rather dull American Gods book of Gaiman’s, which is also on Prime. The Pratchett touch is the winning one. Although, tv has before now not handled his books terribly well.

Between this and the JRRT series, I might just be persuaded to succumb to Amazon Prime…Buffy got us into cable, so I have a precedent to rely upon when negotiating with my better half ;-)
