Yikes, I’m guessing that the download link got crushed with traffic because it’s not working. Makes sense though as soon as the email went out, a bunch of people went to download the book. You guys gotta load balance your web servers and S3 buckets!
Haha, same issues, I’ll try to remember to come back later. I’ve got the paperback but it would be nice to have a more portable version to re-read/restart in anticipation for November!

Damn this is sad, i really wanted to read the book
A couple dozen tries and the process times out each time.
It took me several tries, but I was finally able to download so it may be working now.

@23, my download is 19.8 MB and my computer thinks it’s complete.
The download worked, but I can’t open either file format. I am on a Kindle Fire, and initially downloaded the MOBI file. When I tried to open it, I got an error message saying the file is protected with a DRM and can’t be read, and telling me to go buy it from the Kindle Store if I want to read it. Help?
Oh this will be so much easier than the hardbacks I have of this series. Brandon’s books are always a preorder for me.
I have the Kindle app for Android and it wont open either file.
Im from Spain and its only open to people who live in US or Canada. I should have read the comments before :/
I have no idea why the MOBI version is 40MB?! I checked and the ePub version is 19MB as well. The longest kindle books I have that are 1,000+ epics are still around 2MB? Its so big I cant even use email to Kindle because Google wants to attach it as a Drive link. lol
So it’s not there anymore? I just tried the link now (still May 4th on the west coast) and it told me the book was no longer available…is this an error that will be fixed tomorrow or is it done for real on the 4th despite this post?
