Pass this month…I know he doesn’t care, but I read his Redshirts and found it to be (in my opinion) poorly written and overrated. I believe him to be a better blogger than fiction writer, although his type of blog is not my cup of tea.

No joke, I was planning to head to my Library’s website to see if this book was available for check out once I finished going through email this morning. Then I opened the book club email and Surprise! Nice early birthday gift for me! :)
Read this a few years ago when it was the Tor free book and it is fantastic. Went out and bought the rest of the trilogy.
Old Man’s War is one of my favorite books; although, I already have a copy.
Well, Tor has managed to sucker me in with this one. Read it and liked his style. I’d like to buy the rest of the series, but I’m not really interested in a DRM-corrupted ebook. Maybe I’m dumb, or simply not observant enough, but I can’t seem to find any place at the Tor website to actually buy ebooks. Could someone clue me in to what I might be missing? I prefer epubs because I can read it anywhere.

Kobo and Googleplay provide the book in epub format.
