I’m glad he always comes to Houston. Though I’m not fond of the tiny bookstore he chooses. The parking is nonexistent there and people are crammed into the store like sardines. Oh well…

The Utah Valley Convention Center is in Provo, UT, not Salt Lake City

Oooh I have family in Naperville….However, that seems rather close to Thanksgiving.

Then again, maybe we could crash their Thanksgiving ;)

With a book of this magnitude, I’ll bet he does other touring for it.  It’s a lot to try and do right before the holidays.

Houston makes the list!?!?!!  So excited!!!  (I agree with Austin’s points regarding the parking/small space..but since it’s a Saturday(!!!), I suppose I can arrive extra early to find parking and get a spot up close).

Thanks for coming to Houston, Brandon. =)

Damn, wish he was gonna be somewhere in the LA area, SD isn’t too far but don’t want to drive all the way.

Austin @1 – Part of the location is that Brandon likes to support bookstores that have always supported him. Part of it is bookstores that are willing to put in the work and expense to bring him in. So… there’s a lot more going on than just throwing a dart and saying, “I think I’ll go to that one.”

In other news, I’m glad to see Mysterious Galaxy get their turn for the launch-day party. Also, I’m very bummed about the lack of a Seattle stop. Here’s hoping there will be more tour announced later, even though I know this book has been exhausting for him.

I am so there! Borderlands Books in San Fransicso! I was there for Brandon’s “Arcanum Unbounded” Tour. It was awesome but was packed. Get there early if you want good seats. Maybe John Denzel from Dragonmount will show up again with his latest book too (he’s from my terf in the Sacramento Area) and tagged along with Brandon in S.F.

@7: 125 miles is relative.
If I go see him in Houston, that’s a 240 mile one way drive from Dallas.   Friends in Oklahoma City have never seen Brandon inside of a 6 hour drive.

But since this tour is around Thanksgiving, I see other factors at play for this being a much shorter tour than we were all hoping for.

That is the downside of a holiday release.
