Widely acclaimed for his work completing Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time, #1 New York Times bestselling author Brandon Sanderson now begins a grand cycle of his own, every bit as ambitious and immersive.

The Way of Kings, book one of the Stormlight Archive, introduces the three protagonists who will be our windows on the strange and wondrous world of Roshar and the drama about to unfold there. The Way of Kings became available in print, audio, and ebook formats on August 31, 2010.

i wish tor would stop sending me info about b.s.’s new stuff. i dont want to sound ungrateful or crass about the death of a beloved author. but fuck everything other than the wheel of time. im sick of people trying to make more money . R.J. said one more book. now i gotta wait two more years and pay sixty more dollars?THE FIRST LINE OF THIS SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT COMPLETING WOT.I think if B.S. is gonna be putting out other books than he needs to leek some chapters. Ive been waiting (and rebuying books)since 96.

the http://www.tor.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=story&id=59427 link to “Read the prelude through the first three chapters” is not working and returning the following error message for me at the moment.
—————-
Fatal error: Call to a member function replaceAliases() on a non-object in /www/sites/www.tor.com/files/html/plugins/system/sef_override.php on line 101

You might wanna look into that.

That’s funny, ’cause I’m getting a different error code for the same link

I had no trouble opening the link (once I got here). My problem was that the TOR site had forgotten my existence–though it knows where I am to send me the newsletter–and I had to re-register. Oh well.
