That closing piece by Richard Anderson is breathtaking.
I have a huge art-crush on Anderson’s work..Actually, I have a huge art-crush on a lot of the guys listed. Just sad that they are all, but one, actually guys.
But there’s hope. I just juried the Society of Illustrators student exhibit and 1) the work was amazing, and 2) many of the winners are female students. (Judging is done before any names are released so we had no idea who we were voting for.) It’ll be fun to keep an eye on their carreers.
Wow, I hadn’t heard of Richard Anderson before. What an amazing sense of design!
