I FORGOT HOW TO BLUNK

“Tywin Lannister’s Dinner Party,” a re-edit by kheprafish of a meeting between the king’s small council in Game of Thrones, is so delightfully uncomfortable that we almost (almost!) wish the entire show was edited like this.

No spoilers, just family dinner-style awkwardness.

Tywin looks really uncomfortable. Maybe some tummy trouble? It would explain so much!

This looks like something out of a Lynch movie…

I don’t know who any of those people are, but that was still hilarious and awesome. Worst Thanksgiving dinner ever.

@3 RishaBree, funny thing is, that clip pretty much told you everything you need to know about the show, and it’s missing half the cast.

You could start S4 episode one tomorrow, after watching that clip, and totally understand what’s going on.

That is absolutely outstanding!

I saw that episode (and every other one), but seeing it edited like that actually made me uncomfortable.

Aeryl: Having not watched the show (or read the books, though the internet has spoiled some bits), here are my guesses: the grey-haired guy is the baddie, half the people around the table are planning some sort of betrayal (lead by the round-faced guy), the woman keeps doing things that aren’t “proper” but doesn’t GAF what the others think and is probably the smartest person in the room, the short guy with curly hair is a bad-ass but not very popular with the others (especially grey hair and young blondie), and young blondie thinks other people like him a lot more than they do (I’m guessing at least someone at the table is planning on stabbing him). How’d I do?

Pretty damn good.

Best part, all of those people are ostensibly ON THE SAME SIDE!

I’ve never read the books or seen more than clips of the show but this was amazing. I couldn’t believe the amount of characterization in just facial expressions (and Tyrion moving the chair).

This is sheer brilliance. Can’t wait to be able to see Season 3, based entirely off this mock-up.
