With Avengers: Age of Ultron almost in theaters (May 1!), the cast is officially doing their press tour. Which means there are plenty of cute moments to come, like when they played Avengers Family Feud on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
No surprise, Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. were their respective team captains, with The Americas facing off against The Mans. What followed was a lot of button-mashing, incredulous commentary from Chris Evans, team huddles, and general losing and/or throwing of nametags.
The best part was, the cast basically played the game in-character. Chris Evans was too goody-goody to say the sex answers, even though clearly that’s what almost always wins a round. (And for some reason, Jeremy Renner thinks that people piss in movie theaters.) Scarlett Johansson is just shaking her head at the men’s stupid answers. And Mark Ruffalo knows exactly the worst place to turn into the Hulk… or does he?
We’re already anticipating the rematch for Captain America: Civil War!
Oops
The number one answer to “Worst place to turn into the Hulk” is HELICARRIERS, you ADORKABLE GOOFBALLS!!!! IT WAS IN THE MOVIE
It was pretty good, but umm, Mark, it’s sad, but nobody goes to the library and I haven’t seen a telephone booth, other than on Doctor Who, for about 15 years.
@3 Dougl,
Vacationed in Quebec last summer. Phone booths on every corner. Saw a big guy taking off his glasses as he went into one; figured it was none of our business…
Aeryl wins… LOL
@2: I was gonna say a jet.
Although I’m surprised Evans didn’t suggest an elevator.
“The Bedroom is the BEST place to turn into the Hulk!” – Jeremy Renner0
Nobody goes to the library? Seriously?!
It was amusing, but am I the only one that was going crazy with them collaborating during the normal answer round? I was like STOP CHEATING, that’s not how it’s played!!! And then Scarlett getting all out of order–I probably laughed more at the butchering of the game than the game itself. Seriously, who doesn’t know how Family Feud works? (And to preempt the age thing, I’m younger than all of these actors)
Shouldn’t they have saved this bit for Civil War?
It’s entirely possible that none of these people have ever seen Family Feud. I know lots of people who haven’t.
I don’t think Renner meant that people actually piss _in_ the actual theater. He was probably referring to the entire building (theater, concession stand, game arcade and restrooms) as “the theater.”
@9, I laughed at that so hard. Jimmy Kimmel’s like “Stop conversing” and they’re all “NO” Then Hemsworth is all “I gave them my answers”
And then Evans asks “Can’t we converse?” and Jimmy’s all like “NO”
I guess I will watch to end but at little over 3 minutes I have yet to see anyone answering in character – Downey came closest with the first answer.
